Elmeg IP290

Plug the Elmeg IP290 into mains power and also plug the phone into the network and boot it up - it will be assigned an IP address. To retrieve this IP address use the menu and arrow keys on the phone - Function then Forward arrow scroll through to Information then Menu Key IP Address

1. Type the IP Address of the Elmeg into a web browser. The default login details are: Username: admin, Password: admin. The Elmeg configuration page should appear.

Before you start

Go to Software update and enter the path:

http://www.orbtalk.co.uk/firmware/ip290.bin

Hit the Load button, the phone will reboot.

2. From the menu screen click on Setupand choose your line -> Line 1.

Configure the settings as shown below. Make sure you use your Orbtalk ID and Orbtalk Password as the values for Account and Password respectively. Set Registrar equal to: talk.orbtalk.co.uk and Outbound Proxy equal to: nat.orbtalk.co.uk:5065.

Press Save to apply settings.

3. SIP Settings Sip - note please alter Long Sip contact to OFF and Support broken registrar to ON

Press Save to apply settings.

4. Go to Setup -> Advanced
Set DHCP to on and press Save to apply (see below).Critical -also scroll down to Filter Packets from Registrar (highlighted on screenshot).

5. Try dialling 902. You should receive a confirmation message announcing a successful registration with Orbtalk.
